3D Magnetic Field of Permanent Magnets, Simulation and Measurement
Original language description
Since the magnetic force is used in many industrial applications, efficient methods for magnetic field calculation are necessary for optimum design of devices. For the case of permanent magnet the model of coupled surface and volume currents is used andthe flux density is calculated by the use of Biot-Savart law. The model was verified by the realized precise and fully automated apparatus. The reproducibility of measurements was found to be less then 0.5 %. This accuracy makes possible to measure production errors of real commercial samples. These errors at can reach up to 10 %. The magnetic field of ring magnet was both measured and modeled. The simplest approximation of uniform magnetization was used. Irrespective of this fact the agreement betweentheory and experiment is good for radial and axial field components.
