Parallel Schur complements for mixed-hybrid discretization of fracture flow problem
Original language description
We present an scalable parallel construction of Schur complements for the saddle-point problem arising from mixed-hybrid discretization of a linear multidimensional fracture flow problem in porous media. We show that explicit construction of the Schur complements leads to significant improvements in total solution time. The PETSc library is used for the construction of Schur complements as well as for solution of resulting system via additive Schwartz domain decomposition.
