    Effect of Cationic Surfactant on Needleless Melt electrospinning of Polypropylene

  • Original language description

    Melt electrospinning of polypropylene (PP) was preformed on a needleless melt electrospinning device designed at the Department of Nonwovens TUL, which allows to control the temperature of polymer melt, the spinning distance between emitting electrode and collector and the applied voltage. The Taylor cones on the electrospinning device are formed on the free surface of polymer melt and the characteristic inter jet distance (wavelength) is influenced by the parameters of electrospun polymer and intensityof electric field at the point of jet formation.
