Original language description
Rotating electromagnetic field of Induction Machines has not stable angular frequency but oscillates around its angular frequency. It is shown that phase demodulation of stator current can reveal the irregularities in magnetomotive force and consequentlydeterminate the irregularities in motor revolutions. Phase demodulation based on the complex analytical signal enables the sensorless determination of instantaneous phase angle and instantaneous angular speed. The paper is focused to speed analysis caused by rotor faults, but this technique can serve as general tool for angular speed irregularities analysis.
