    Flow123d - parallel simulator of water flow and transport in fractured media

  • Original language description

    Flow123d is software for simulation of water flow and transport of chemical substances in a fractured medium. Domain geometry can include 3D (volume), 2D (fractures), 1D (channels) domains and it is possible to model various types of coupling between domains of different dimension. The flow is considered saturated, stationary, Darcian. The transport model includes various types of sorption and dual porosity. For the flow we use mixed=hybrid finite element method of zero order. The transport uses explicit finite volume method and operator splitting. Both, the flow and the transport, can be solved in parallel using the MPI environment.
