Technical university of Liberec concretely the Institute for Nanomaterials, Advanced Technologies and Innovation cooperates with Public Transport Company of cities Liberec (DPMLJ). The lot of problems concerned on supplying and operating of tram tractionmotors are together solved. The project which we solve nowadays is named ?Development and Implementation, Comprehensive Testing Methods of Tram Undercarriages in Sequence of Gearboxes and Traction Motors?. This project implements modern trends of technical diagnostics and industry informatics in the everyday servicing of trams. The goal is increasing the reliability of tracked transport and decreasing of negative influences of tram transport (noise, low frequency vibrations, risk of traffic accident etc.). The biggest attention is put on the undercarriages and traction motors. The sophisticated methods for undercarriages testing are possibilities to decrease the negative factors.
