Optimization of robotic workplaces
Original language description
The robotic workplaces are very common not only in modern automotive companies. The robots helps to reduce cycle time of production lines and enhance quality assurance to hand make operation. The demands on robotic workplaces is change a lot since first standalone installation. The complex assembly lines, with many robotic cell and multi robot cooperation is typical automotive arrangement even before Industry 4.0 era. The complexness of the system leads to new challenges in control and optimization in each robotic controller, cell and workshop. The robots typically use technology extension, e.g. for welding, gluing, painting and testing. The overall reliability of process controls and robot controls are one of factors which determine the expenses of whole workshop. This article discusses some possible techniques and measures to achieve a desired state of a robotic workplace.
