Original language description
This paper introduces new approaches to traffic accident data utilization. Possible options of trafficaccident information gathering are described together with their potential use in an early warning systemabout a high risk of a traffic accident. Furthermore, possibilities of visualization of traffic accidentrecords on a map without using a Geographic Information System are discussed. The most crucial part ofthis paper is a design and description of a web application for visualization and analysis of informationabout traffic accidents, which uses its own map server.
