Brightness Matching Experiments with Pulsed Light: Experiment Design

  • Original language description

The paper describes the experiment setup for performing the brightness matching experiments with pulsed and steady light. The frame is revising and confirming the Talbot-Plateau (TP) law for light with high bandwidth. The paper further describes other details of the experiment procedure. Experiments are designed for pulses at 100 Hz with 25 % duty cycle. The light levels are in the photopic range. First experiment results are shown and evaluated. It is concluded that the TP law cannot be disproved.
