Comparison of Pre-entering Integration Conditions of Economies on the Case of the Czech and Romanian Ekonomy

Original language description

This article reflects the discussions of a Czech and Romanian economists´ team about the pre-accession economic reality of those countries before the entrance into the integration community - as the European Union is - as well about a development of thereality. On the base of the selected data, the description of the Czech Republic reality was made; the attention was concentrated on the advance in the years 2000 -- 2003, as a four year period before the entrance into the EU. Simultaneously, a collection of the relevant data for 2003, concerning the Romanian economy, was made. The article is referred to the different starting points of both countries, as well as the positive and negative aspects of the Czech development, which Romania could use as inspiration and instruction sources. It is an initial stage of the whole study, in which the mentioned group of economist is going to deal - for now - with the development of economic conditions of the pre-entering period of Romania into the
