Multidimensional Modeling within Analysis and Design of IS/ICT

Structured and object-oriented approaches are classical approaches used for modeling of information systems. Diagrams of these approaches are proposed for conceptual and technological levels of modeling within P3A. Both kinds of approaches have been proposed for analysis and design of transaction processing systems. For modeling of BI applications, namely data warehouse modeling, the term multidimensional modeling is used, multidimensional models being products of it. This contribution is about relationship between multidimensional modeling and multidimensional models to conceptual and technological levels within P3A applied in the analysis and design of applications.
