Last year, the authors of this paper started to participate on the MŠMT 11/54 project called Requirements Implementation for Submitting the DS Label Application and for Data Preparation for Submitting the ECTS Label Application. The authors of this paperproposed a number of ECTS credits for all the courses of the new study programme Economics and Management, specialization Economics and Management of Services, at the Faculty of Economics TUL (EF TUL). Another proposal arose from the cooperation of thevice-dean for full-time studies at the EF TUL, and the vice-dean for science and research at the EF TUL. The aim of the paper is to compare both approaches dealing with the number of ECTS credits assigned to courses of the study programme mentioned above, and to improve the created model of the ECTS credits allocation so that it is usable in general for allocating the ECTS credits to all the courses taught at EF TUL.
