Original language description
The paper deals with the economic policy of investment incentives and regional development. The paper is aimed to evaluation of the benefits of investment incentives granted by multinational corporations for the regional development, from the perspectiveof real convergence of the Czech regions. The research was conducted on 345 multinational companies receiving investment incentives in the regions of the Czech Republic. Through the use of mathematical and statistical methods there is presented and evaluated the effect of MNC investment incentives to the process of the real convergence of the Czech regions. The results are compared and interpreted together with other relevant data relating to problematics of embeddedness of MNC´s branches in the regional economy.
