Software Support of Project Initiatives - Recommended tools
Original language description
Project failures are mainly caused by poor balancing between many factors and resources that affect the success of project implementation. Numerous methodologies and software tools allowing the controlling of many of these specifics already exist. However, it is still not possible to find a single tool that would cover all the needs of the project manager and other integral users. The companies usually need to compromise between functionality, cost and the user requirements. The main objective of this paper is to present the options offered by available software solutions and create a list of features that project management support system should include in order to respond to the needs in all the areas in which the project manager requires quick response and easy organization
