The Analysis of Selected Resource Management Tools Used in the Czech Republic
Original language description
The submitted paper deals with the selected tools that are part of resource management in the context of sustainable development. These instruments especially cover Corporate Social Responsibility, Enterprise Resource Planning systems and strategic management with its selected management models. Enterprise Resource Planning systems are the information base that is used for decision-making of management of the company and supports tools used for management decision. The aim of these tools is to support decrease of consumption of raw materials, energy and other limited resources that leads in increase of business performance of the company. This is mainly due to lower costs and increase of corporate profitability. On the other hand all these activities cause the reduction of unfavorable ecologic impacts of business activities. The paper discusses the possibility how to increase business performance through selected strategic management models because of the improvement of the company competitiveness. The last part of the article is aimed at the results of the own survey that took place in the Czech Republic at the beginning of 2013. The research was focused on the companies located in this country and it answered the questions how these companies improved and increased their business performance in the market from the sustainable development point of view.
