The current paper focuses on the analysis of multiple unforeseen crisis incidents that should be taken into consideration during the formulation of the IT Business Continuity testing policy in an enterprise. The prerequisite of a successfully integrated strategy towards an unexpected interruption of either one or multiple computer based business functions, is the often execution of IT systems’ recovery exercises. However, the more emphasis is given to probable Unexpected Recovery Factors, during testing, that can delay the recovery time effort of a given business function in a real emergency event, the more organized and prepared the personnel will be in order to react immediately and recover on time all the critical business functions whose interruption may negatively influence the organization
