The paper begins with a description of Czech commercial ALAMBETA instrument for the measurement of thermal-contact and thermal ? insu-lation properties of textile fabrics and deals with a new application of this instrument for the determination of the effect of underwear on warm-cool feeling while dressing -up and wearing of garments. For this purpose, the measuring head of the instrument was covered by the underwear fabric. The method is verified by a large experiment.
