Original language description
The modification of PET fibers is still very attractive for preparation of specialty materials. Modifying component has influence on structure and properties of fibers but it is very complicated to separate influence of chemical composition from influencparameters. The main aim of this work is utilization of DSC method for investigation of PET/PEN fibers melting point Tm and glass transition Tg. The dependence of Tg on volume fraction of PEN is well described by the Gibbs-Di Marzio relation and loweringvolume fraction of PEN is described by linear regression model.
