Innovation in Investigation of Inner Structure of Yarn
Original language description
The study of yarn structure and positioning of the constituent fibers to form a continuous strand has attracted the attention of many workers who have used an idealized helical structure as a basis for these studies. The existence of this structure has been critized as being unuseful and not manufacturable. Studies of the actual arrangement of fibers in the yarn have been carried out and different theories explaining the behavior of fibers in the process of yarn formation have been given. Two main methods of description of fiber's behavior in yarn are known from the past. The researches used approaches of the tracer fibers technique and the perpendicular cross section of yarn. This paper introduces a little bit different approach to the investigation of inner structure of yarn. It shows the first steps in a salvation of this problem with help of new oblique cross section of yarn.
