This paper submits a problem of deviations of measured mechanical parameters of fabrics depending on location of cutting of tests samples. On base preliminary measures tensile properties of weaving materials by system KES the paper attempting outline (sketch) question why actually exists variation of values and whether this fact has any influence on fabric behaviour as a complex e.g. during draping (especially on number and location of simple draping waves).
