This paper deals with the evaluation of weaves geometry. At the present time, a lot of publications concerning “free” yarn properties are available. The assumption of circular cross-section of “free” yarn was used for establishingweaving the yarn is deformed; main mechanisms of deformation in the weave binding points are due to compression and bending stresses. The geometrical models of such deformation are discussed.
