    Using a Thermal Simulator to Determine the Amount of Time that Humans are Thermally Protected by Fabrics Containing Phase Change Materials

    Thermal efficiency of fabrics containing the PCM microcapsules was under certain simplification theroretically analyzed and as the parameter of their thermal protection the time of thermal protection was proposed. During this time the effective thermal resistance of the tested fabrics should be at least 2 times higher then that of non PCM fabrics. A new instrument for determination thermal efficiency of protective clothing containing PCM particles was described and prototype manufactured.

    Proces nošení textillií s PCM mikrokapslemi byl zjednodušeně teoreticky byl analyzovám a k hodnocení stupně jejich tepelné ochrany byla navržena tzv. doba tepelné ochrany, zajišťující nejméně dvojnásobný tepelný odpor ve srovnání s tepelným odporem stejných textilií bez PCM. Ke zmíněnému hodnocení byl navržen a realizován nový přístroj.
