This presented paper deals with simulation of bending stiffness of fabrics during pure bending of narrow strip of textile as fixed-end beam, which is loaded by self-weight. The aim is point out problems related with material and geometrical non-linearbehavior of fabrics during their simulation by way of FEM (Finite Element Method).

Článek se zabývá simulací deformace plošné textilie při jednoduchém ohýbání proužku textilie jako vetknutého nosníku zatíženého vlastní tíži. Cílem je poukázat na problémy související s materiálovým a geometrickým nelineárním chováním textilií při jejichsimulaci prostřednictvím FEM (Finite Element Method).
