Textiles used for special clean room manufacturing must meet very strict criterions as filtering capabilities, washing resistance, ability of sterilization, capability of heat transfer, gas exchange, minimal particle loss, and permanent antistaticproperties. Last of the two criterions determine materials, which suitable for production of such textiles: polypropylene, polyester, carbon fibres (or fibres containing soots) that ensure permanent antistatic properties.Fabrics with carbon fibres show significantly different electrical properties in warp and weft direction. To enable evaluation of this anisotropy new measurement tool was designed. Unlike in usual case where round electrodes are usedthis tool is equipped with two rectangular electrodes enabling measurement in different angles. This paper presents methodology as well as results of measurement of fabrics with different inweavement of carbon fibres.
