This paper is focused on study of new parameter of yarn mass irregularity - deviation rate (DR) and its relation to other parameters of yarn mass irregularity. There are observed combed and carded ring spun yarns. It was found out combed yarn has betterresults. The highest correlation is between parameters DR(1,5m,5%) and CV(1m).

Příspěvek je zaměřen na studii nového parametru hmotné nestejnoměrnosti příze - deviační odchylky (DR) a jeho vztahu k ostatním parametrům hmotné nestejnoměrnosti příze. Byly sledovány mykané a česané prstencové příze. Česaná příze vykazuje lepší výsledky, největší korelace byla zaznamenána mezi parametry DR(1,5m,5%) a CV(1m).
