Air filters containing nanofibres have been described in a number of patents and papers. In fact, the patents contain more or less only ideas instead of practical solutions. Air filters containing nanofibres have not found their broad practical use yet.Commercially produced air filters are to be developed in spite of the fact that some companies claim their readiness to produce and sell these materials.
