Original language description
The fibrous bulky material containing thin nanofibrous layers was presented as a high efficient sound absorbing material. This paper deals with a research of acoustic characteristics of single nanofibrous membranes. The sound absorption coefficient prediction of nanofibrous thin membranes is based on the research of their structural characteristics such as nanopore size, average pore diameter, average fiber diameter, nanofibre polymer and porosity. The structural characteristics of nanofibrous layers have been measured by means of software Lucia directly from image provided by the electron microscope. Two production technologies have been used for achievement of different nanofibrous structures such as flat or bulky nanofibrous layer.
