Original language description
This presented paper is focused on new, just developing technology production of metal fabrics from wolfram wires. For wolfram is characteristics high thermal resistivity and high strength. It concerns the material the material that is used in cosmic developments. It finds the usage especially in composites, where wolfram fabrics is as armature and copper as matrices. For development and effective usage of composites is necessary properly deal with their structure, properties and possibilities of fabricproduction. Here are presented first of all the mechanical properties of wolfram wires and surface, which is connected with them.

Czech description
Článek je zaměřen na novou, právě vyvíjenou technologii výroby kovové tkaniny z wolframových drátků. Pro wolfram je charakteristická vysoká teplotní odolnost a vysoká pevnost. Jedná se o materiál, který se využívá v kosmickém výzkumu. Využití nachází zejména v kompozitech, kde je wolframová tkanina výztuží a měď matricí. Pro vývoj a efektivní využití kompozitu je nezbytné důkladně se zabývat jejich strukturou, vlastnostmi a možnostmi výroby tkanin. Zde jsou prezentovány především mechanické vlastnosti wolframových drátků a povrch, který s nimi souvisí.
