Original language description
The paper presents the modeling approach enabling transformation of real structure of textile reinforced composites including important structural imperfections (e.g. slip of textile plies, textile reinforcement reduction, pores and cracks, etc.) into geometry model applicable to numerical simulations of composite material response to various loads and calculations of effective properties of studied specimen. The source of structural information are digital images of composite strucure.

Czech description
V článku je popsána metodika tvorby geometrického modelu struktury kompozitu s textilní výztuží, který zahrnuje významné strukturní imperfekce (skluz textilních vrstev, redukci výztuže, dutiny apod.). Tento model je použit pro numerické simulace chováníkompozitů při různých typech zatížení a pro výpočet efektivních vlastností studovaných materiálů. Zdrojem informací o struktuře jsou mikrofotografie získané pomocí obrazové analýzy.
