Using CTT-YAS device for selected yarn properties measurement
Original language description
This paper deals with not only description but also utilization of new testing machine CTT ?constant tension transport Lawson Hemphill (its YAS module) for measuring yarn diameter, fault and hairiness. The device is newly enabled on the Department of Textile Technologies of Technical University of Liberec. Within the experiment there were measured set of yarns. There were tested these parameters: yarn diameter, internal variation coefficient of yarn diameter, yarn hairiness and yarn faults. The same yarns were tested also on the instruments: Uster Tester IV-SX, Zweigle G567 and QQM-3. Obtained results are compared with result obtained from CTT ?YAS module.
