    Application of Plasma Treatment on Textile Reinforced Composites

    The plasma treatment was apply on different types of fabrics. The fabrics from carbon, glass, kevlar and polyester were treated by surface barrier plasma discharge for 24, 40, 60s. Properties like wettability, adhesion and depth of penetration of binder(polyethylene) into fibers were observed and compared with untreated fabric.
