Modeling of 3D orthogonal fabrics
Original language description
The present paper focuses on geometric and micro-mechanical modeling of 3D orthogonal fabrics for composite applications and employs Meso-FE (Finite Element) modeling for it. Finite Element (FE) modeling of textile composites is used for homogenization of mechanical properties and study of stress?strain fields inside the unit cell.
