As a filters material are widely used non-woven nanofibers obtained by electrospinning. It was found that electrospun filters could be made which had nanoparticles penetration values comparable to commercial filters but with substantially less filter mass. But using membranes from nanofibers as the filtration materials can give less penetration of particles because the size of pores in membranes is smaller than in nanofibers. In the present time is the development of the processes such as microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis, electrodialysis, gas separation and other with the using of synthetic membranes.
