    Nanofibers for air filtration with catalytic activity

  • Original language description

    Polyurethane nanofibers with catalytic system of metal`s oxides for air filtration were produced by electrospinning according Nanospider technology. Catalytic systems (SnO2 and CrO2) of concentrations 1 and 2% were incorporated into the polymer solutionbefore fiberforming. Significant effect of catalysts on the solution`s viscosities was not recorded. Modified samples have good catalytic activity for decreasing concentration of harmful gases (NOx, CO2, CO). It means that produced nanofibers could be used for climatization and ventilation systems.
