Preparation of nanocellulosic templates for hybrid metal oxide by optimum milling parameters
Original language description
In this study, optimization of operating parameters of high energy planetary ball mill for the preparation of nanocellulose templates in synthesis of hybrid metal oxide nanotubes was performed. A three-level Box?Behnken design combining a response surface methodology (RSM) was employed to study the response in terms of particle size and % sticking of material to mill. Analysis of variance showed coefficient of determination value of 0.927 and 0.903 for particle size and material sticking respectively. The model equations were then optimized using the canonical analysis using SYSTAT software to minimize for particle size and material sticking. The optimum conditions were found to be 11.87 mm for ball size, 46.71 min for milling time, 9.05 for ball to material ratio and 869.63 rpm for milling speed.
