Ceramic matrix composites reinforced with basalt or carbon fibers are perspective structural materials for use in hot or oxidative environments. We made a model study changes in the properties of siloxane composites during thermal degradation. Special attention was paid to changes in the electrical conductivity of the composite matrix during heat treatment.
