Simulation and modeling the thermal behaviour of textile structures
Original language description
The total comfort of a garment comprises, not only, the sensorial and thermophysiological comfort, but also aesthetic, colour and size aspects, wich make up the so called psychological comfort. But, it is the thermophysiological comfort, wich historically justifies the existence of clothes themselves, that is characterised by two important properties: thermal properties (heat transfer) and physiological properties (mass transfer). The mathematical modelization of the principal thermal properties in functional knit structures was done, and founded good correlations between the theoretical and experimental values of the refered properties.
