Original language description
Dyed polyester samples by using different dye stuffs were examined with the polarized light with optical light microscopy. It was observed that most of these dyes possess strong dichroism and also the dichroism of the dyed polyester fiber is dependable on the different concentration of dye stuff. As the concentration of the dye stuff changes on the staple polyester fiber the considerable change in the dichroism is also observed. The dichroic effect of the polyester fiber is related to the orientation ofthe dye structure.
