    C/P resp. C/C composites were fabricated with varying ratios of carbon nanofillers. Objective was to determine how these particles affect matrix densification. Carbon nanoparticles are prepared from ground recycled carbon fibers Torayca T800. The advantage of these nanoparticles is both affordability of starting materials (recycled carbon fibers), and relatively simple production of nanoparticles with easily controlled size. Next followed the analysis of matrix densification influence on mechanical andthermo-mechanical properties of fabricated samples. Achieved results showed the usability of ground carbon nanoparticles as densifiers of polymer precursor to carbon matrix that can reduce the porosity of final C/C composite.
