Original language description
Electro spinning is a process to generate nanofibers. With this process, Nano fibrous layers for many applications can be produced. This paper presents method for production of recycled Poly (Ethylene Terephthalate), (r-PET) fibers from PET bottles produced by Melt electro spinning compared with Solution electro spinning. The effects of spinning parameters and morphology on obtained recycled Poly (Ethylene Terephthalate) fibers were studied. The results showed solution r-PET from PET bottle prepared inmixture of trifluoroacetic acid and dichloromethane were completely spun into fibrous sheet through solution electro spinning and melt electro spinning. The temperature for melting r-PET granule was 300 °C for successful spinning of fibers. The variationof voltage affects the fiber diameter. The r-PET fibers produced by Melt electro spinning and Solution electro spinning have diameters ranging from 10 to 26 um and 1 to 5 um respectively.
