Polymer Electro-spraying Encapsulation of Fluorescein Labelled Diamond Nanoparticles for Biomedical Aplication

  • Original language description

Diamond nanoparticles posses many of noteworthy properties such as high specific surface area, average diameter of individual particle of about 4 nm, and the eventuality of using them as attractive vehicles for drug delivery systems due to its biocompatibility and possibility of chemical modification. These characteristics encourage using them in in vitro and in vivo. Chemical modification of nanodiamond surface based on hydroxylation process and labelling with fluorescent dye is proposed herein. Our aim was to investigate encapsulated diamond nanoparticles distribution in polymer. The creation of biocompatible microcapsules polymer-diamond nanoparticle gives the opportunity to reduce the potential risk of introduction insoluble but biocompatible nanoparticles into the body. Diamond nanoparticles are non-cytotoxic and what is most important immunocompatible with cells. This complex is designed to not only to cure with the smallest possible number of drug molecules but also exact applic
