    Fabrication of Nanofiber Mats Using Novel Bubble Spinning Technique

    The aim of this study is a bubble electrospinning technology, which belongs inrnrecent years to the progressive electrospinning method. The advantage of this technique is the production of nanofibrous materials at a reduced energy consumption compared to other electrospinning methods. This study deals with the design and construction of the modified device. The equipment includes a protective atmosphere containing gas, where bubble electrospinning takes place. Further the principles of bubble electrospinning are also described. The Emphasis was mainly placed on the comparison of the fiber layer morphology produced by this method with the fibrous layers, which are made by generally used technologies. Bubble electrospinning in a protective atmosphere appears to be promising technology of the future, which can be applied in the area of medicine, tissue engineering and technical applications.
