    Wavelength transformation during electrospinning process

  • Original language description

    The paper aims on the electrospinning process that is enriched with the fluorescent 4,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole known as DAPI. DAPI absorbs on a similar wavelength level like the corona discharge that is emitted by the electrospinning. This enriched process causes transformation from an ultraviolet level to visible light. The main area of the corona discharge occurs near Taylor cones and via measurement with the optical emission spectroscopy, peaks ranging between 297-404 nm were measured. The peak with highest intensity is placed on 357 nm wavelength. The electrospinning process was filmed by the corocam system for UV light recording. The standard camera was used for observation of emission in visible area. All photos were taken in the dark room withlong exposure time setting.
