Comparative evaluation of novel fiber treatments on the mechanical, thermomechanical and creep bahavior or jute/green epoxy composites
Original language description
Jute is an abundant natural biodegradable plant fiber used as a reinforcement in bio-composites and occupies the second place in therms of world production levels of cellulosic fibers. The objective of this chapter is report the influence of some novel treatment methods such as CO2 pulsed infrared laser, ozone, enzyme and plasma on mechanical, dynamic mechanical and creep properties of woven jute/green epoxy composites.
