Air Jet yarn properties based on structure
Original language description
Based on fibre parameters, and yarn structural parameters, it is possible to predict air jet yarn strength at short gauge length using the presented model. The model calculated three component of strength, core strength as a parallel bundle of fibers, wrapper fibers pressure on core fibres and wrapper fibre strength. The model may be developed to calculate the yarn strength at longer gauge length (500 mm).
