  • Original language description

This smart application of 3D printing of Braille labels for blind people is applied on a textiles via care symbols. Solution of research was to create universal symbols in Braille and apply them on textile. In experimental part are this care symbols realized by special technique of 3D print and examined the ideal high of Braille point. Surface topography got to us important information about shape and size of this Braille labels for comparing and modification of shape. All results were consulting with blind people and ajusted to their requests. Braille care symbols applied on apparel is not easy, because classicall care label is inside the apparel. With using Braille alphabet are these care labels too long and unpractical. We tried to find a solutions and arrange the labelling to front of apparel to the centre of design pattern with trendy thematics. Blind people can use this practical application and to be fashionable too. This publication was written at the Technical University of Liberec as part of the project Development of 3D special textile applications for visual disable people, number 21157 with the support of the Specific University Research Grant, as provided by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic in the year 2016.
