The presented paper is oriented toward the application possibilities of the instrument Morapex for measurement of colour fastness to water. Generally, The instrument Morapex is suitable for assessing as change in colour as for assessing staining. It is also possible to use this one for evaluation of obtained solution e.g. its colouring, pH, chemical residuals, etc. The main aim is to verify if the mentioned instrument is able to provide the quick and effective method of textiles material testing in their colour fastness. The results from instrument Morapex were compared with standardized approach and evaluation was realized as visually as instrumentally on the Spectrofotometer. Together 16 types of textiles, 10 knits and 6 weaves, were used for testing and as adjacent fabrics for assessment staining the multifibre fabrics were used. Results indicate conclusion that instrument Morapex can be used as a measuring method for evaluation of colour fastness.
