Comparing thermal comfort properties of dry and wet functional underwear made of synthetic and natural fibres
Original language description
Thermal & water vapour resistance and thermal contact feeling of dry functional and common underwear do not exhibit big differences when measured in dry state. The advantages of functional underwear appear when it is used under real wearing conditions involving the presence of sweat. The objective of this work is the determination of the above comfort properties of selected high added value underwear both in dry state and under the simulated real conditions of their use, given by the application of the so called sweat impulse.
