Moisture management and comfort of knitted materials for sports underwear
Original language description
Paper deals with moisture management of liquid humidity from body to surrounding. Sportswear is necessary to be defined properly to avoid overheating and allow skin to breath. We tested set of knitted materials with specific structure and suitability for sports underwear at Moisture management Tester instrument (MMT). Correlation between structure parameters was evaluated. Results obtained from the measurement follow presumption of good comfort properties in the standard limits. All used structures provide satisfactory moisture transport to the front side where humidity will evaporate.
