    The spinning electrodes for producing polymeric nanofibres by electrically spinning a solution or melt of a polymer comprise a solution of a solution or melt of a polymer that is at its front. A spinning surface rounded downwards, below the mouth is formed around at least a portion of the mouth of the polymer solution or melt. This spinning surface is continuously connected to a drainage surface on the outer surface of the polymer feed solution or melt . The device for production of nanofibres by electric spinning of a solution or melt of polymer is equipped with at least one spinning electrode according to the invention. The method of producing nanofibres by electrically spinning a solution or melt of a polymer is based on the use of a spinning electrode according to the invention. In the manufacturing process, the polymer solution or melt flows through the gravity of the spinning electrode under the action of gravity and spun from the spinning surface. An excess solution or melt of polymer is fed to this spinning surface, and the non-fibrous solution or melt of the polymer rests on the spinning surface of the spinning electrode and then flows under gravity onto the downstream discharge surface on the outer surface of the supply a polymer solution or melt without further spinning on the drainage surface. The result of the patent is used by Nanoprogres z.s.p.o, Pardubice, on the basis of the Works Contract of 18. December 2017
